Adams is proud to have been awarded the Philanthropist of the year in 2008 by the Vision Fund of the HBRA and continues to work with various community groups.

We are proud sponsors of the Bailey Ave Nationals little league baseball team and the Aquatic Club in Ridgefield as well participating in fundraising events for Greenwich Hospital and the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC).
Auctions:
Our services are auctioned regularly at such events as the Northeast School auction in Stamford, Zion’s Hill Preschool program in Wilton and the Robert A. Novak Jr. memorial fund in Ridgefield.
Ramp Project for Children with Disabilities:
David H. Adams as co-chairman of the Remodelers & Builders Council of the HBRA works closely with St Vincent’s Special Needs Services in Trumbull to finance and build access ramps for children with disabilities. Two of the many projects that were completed by the HBRA are the Martins Ramp and Ortiz Ramp in Bridgeport.
A Home For EJ:
David H. Adams was part of The Home for EJ Committee which was established to help a boy named EJ. EJ suffers from recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (EB), the so-called butterfly disease, which causes his skin to flake and blister at the merest touch. - more -
The committee set out to raise $650,000 so that EJ can live in comfort by remodeling his house with a lift to get him up the stairs to his bedroom, a salt water pool to ease the pain of his damaged skin, a sterile environment to store and change his bandages that go over his entire body, a special computer for his webbed hands, ongoing medical attention and much much more.
